The bath would fill up while having a shower and take ages to drain away. Didnt get chance to report this but not ideal and would have expected better from such a lovely hotel

It was a really nice stay. I would really consider this hotel next time when visiting GBG.
Location is perfect, everything is around the corner and I did most of my business on foot. Breakfast was great and the hotel bar is really lively every evening (I stayed from Thursday to Sunday), with good music. Staff is nice and helpful. Although the train station is very close, I can´t complain about any noise.
My (single) room was kind of small. However. as I didn´t travel to stay inside the hotel, then not a problem really.

A large, busy hotel in an excellent position for exploring the city. Impressive breakfast buffet and pleasant, helpful s
Excellent, central position. Right by the station, tram and bus stops with a very helpful ticket office. Despite being next to a central transport hub the bedrooms were surprisingly quiet. The breakfast buffet was impressive with a variety of the usual breakfast items and a particularly good choice of bread and bread rolls. Helpful, pleasant staff.
Disappointed that despite booking well in advance that my friend and I were allocated rooms in different parts of the hotel. Found it odd not to have a safe in my room. No bath mat provided until day 3 Difficult to find information re gym and pool access. Background info would have helped rather than having to ask reception staff how to find the gym - not easy to access. Surprised that use of the pool invoked extra charges. Did not attempt swimming there. The bar was crowded and noisy. “A quiet drink” was not an option.
